Inauguraton of new zone of Indian Junior Chamber Zone- XXII
Indian Junior Chamber on its way of progress extends new chapters in un represented areas and later expand Zones. Presently Kerala is divided in to 4 zones ie; zone XIX,XX,XXI and XXII.

Multi Speciality Medical Camp

LOTS (Lom Officers Training Seminar)-('Lom' means local organisation member)
This initial training of Junior Chamber movement is given to new office bearers to give them guidance and information to lead the respective chapters on their respective term.

Multi speciality medical Camp
A first of it's kind in Thiruvalla a combined free medical camp in association with it's members of various disciplines of medicine and allied areas at various places like rural areas,schools etc;were conducted and blood donors forum after identifying blood groups free of cost was also carried out.

SSLC awards Distribution
Excellence awards were distributed to the topper of Pathanamthitta dist.in the past SSLC examination and to the best student among the Jaycee family Kum.Surekha.C.S. and Jclt.Vidya.D.Nair bagged this years awards respectively.

Training classes
Training classes for Jaycees and public.This is the most attractive field which Junior Chamber offers to a young member who can avail it's best if one needs.There are 5 main basic ID courses among more than 110 topics developed by Indian Junioir Chamber which follows.

Jc.Dr.B.G.Gokullan was selected for this prestigious award of Indian Junoir Chamber on the chapter level.

Thiruvalla Junior Chamber has developed a woman's wing known as Jayceerette wing where the Jayceerette chairperson and other office bearers are elected yearly.They have seperate activities to do in the society like helping the poor,giving training to house wives and professionals etc;etc;Under the chairmanship of Jct.Retty Shaji Thiruvalla Junior Chamebr distributed free educational kits to the deprived children of Vikas School,Thiruvalla,free distribution of cloths to the orphanage children,gave away outstanding young woman enterpreneur award to Mrs.Sherly Emmanuel,proprietor Fruity Sip beverages,Thiruvalla.

Involvement in Junior chamber has tremendous impact on a persons life that it leads to a totally new individual. All that is needed is an open mind and a willingness to make oneself a better person.

The miracle of Junior chamebr does not happen overnight or by a flash of lighting.It takes much loinger than that. It is an evaluatory process that is determined by the amount of effort, time and energy that the member is prepared to contribute.The input determines the output. A persons attitude towards the Junior chamber organisation will determine the organisations attitude towards that individual.

For over 80 years Junior Chamber movement all over the world has been shaping, preparing and developing young people to excel in their personal, professional and social careers.

Indian Junior Chamber is the national unit of Junior Chamber International. Indian Junior Chamber(IJC) was founded in 1949 at Calcutta by a Philipino Jaycee named Segunde Mapa.Jc.BhakthaVatsalam from then Madras was the first National President.

Mission of Junior chamber is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing opportunities for the young people to develope the leadership skills ,socil responsibility,enterpreneurship and fellow ship necessary to change positive change.

Highlights of programmes since inception of Thiruvalla Junior Chamber in 1990.

Ayurvedic health drink was distributed free during the 4 day state athletic meet held at Thiruvalla.This was sponsored by Aswathy Bhavan Chikitsanilayam,Thiruvalla.

First Jaycee athletic mela was organised by participating neighbour chapters too at Thiruvalla. Called Jaycee mela sponsored by Melam Contiments.

Distributed various awards of excellence to the department officials,social workers and enterpreneurs every year.

A young graduate in commerce having own tyre retreading company which is the first unit of Thiruvalla known as JK pre-cured retreading,having factory at Kattookkara ,Thiruvalla. He has also cold & hot process retreading of all kinds of tyres including radial tyres.
