The
first church, George Syrian Jacobite Church,Paliakara
in Thiruvalla was founded in 1810AD.At that
time there was not any denomination except Syrian
Jacobite Church. In course of time a new church
was formed by Rev.Fr. Abraham Malpan and Rev.
Fr. Ipe Thoma Kovoor and M.G.Mathews Mar Athanius,
Palakunnathu.
